The G-MAX AS-05 is General's ultra-high performance summer/all-season tire designed for drivers of high-performance sedans, sports cars and sports coupes looking for a tire that combines efficient road handling dry and wet, with assured traction at all times, including in light snow. Using a compound molded into an aggressive, asymmetrical tread pattern, the G-MAX AS-05 features SmartGrip technology that combines sporty handling with all-weather traction. Wide, stable tread blocks on the outer and inner shoulders provide a high level of grip for reliable handling at high speeds, while the sturdy center rib provides stability and responsiveness. Wet traction is ensured by the high silica content of the tread and the four wide circumferential grooves provide increased resistance to aquaplaning.
